The Spanish Union of Airline Pilots (Sepla), the Spanish Union of Airline Pilots (Sepla), is considering strikes during the summer, possibly sending a summer of confusion for Brits headed for the sun. Sepla is currently represented in Air Nostrum, Air Europa, Iberia, Iberia Express, Vueling, Vueling, Ryanair, Vueling, Ryanair, Norwegian, Swiftair, Plus Ultra, Jet 2 and Evelop. The Union says it is deeply regret that Spanish law, which reduces the effect of the strike, calls for a minimum of 90 percent of the norm. Only around 18-20 flights have been cancelled out of a total of about 80 scheduled flights per day that airlines have.

A Venezuelan teenage migrant's ride from the United States-Mexico border was bittersweet when he separated himself from the pet dog his mother gave him before she passed away. Brayan Pinto and his tiny fluffy white dog, Brandy, had traveled through several Central and South America countries, a treacherous tropical jungle in Panama and Mexico as part of their attempts to obtain asylum from the US government. On Sunday, the 18-year-old and his family walked across a shallow section of the Rio Grande to hand over the U.S. Border Patrol in El Paso, Texas, when he learned that he could not do so with Brandy in tow.
