The 21-year-old was drafted No 16 overall by the Atlanta Hawks in 2022 and played two seasons before being traded to the Houston Rockets in June of this year. He is yet to play a game for his new team, but Shams Charania of The Athletic reports he is now 'seriously considering' quitting the sport entirely.

About halfway through the season, Booker's Suns soared by six points when what seemed to be an ongoing verbal contest with Whitmore hit its breaking point. After releasing the ball, Booker's forearm extension was given to him. After making the jumper, the Suns star revived his hand and blasted his opponent in the arm. While jogging down the court, Whitmore unleashed a two-handed shove that moved, but Booker did not seem to worry - Booker a few steps behind. The booker did not threaten him back but instead kept his jersey.
