George Springer, the center fielder of the Blue Jays, was carted away after a frightening collision with Bo Bichette

www.dailymail.co.uk, October 9, 2022
The Blue Jays lost by center fielder George Springer collided with shortstop Bo Bichette in the eighth inning, allowing Seattle to plate three runs and tie the game on the evening. After an Adam Frazier double in the ninth scored catcher Cal Raleigh, Seattle will win 10-9. By seven runs earlier in the game, the Mariners had trailed by seven runs. J.P. Crawford made a blooper into shallow center field with two out and the bases loaded. Springer and Bichette were both tumultuous after the ball, but it landed as the two teams collided. Both three runners scored on the double, tied for ninth on the ninth, tying it 9. Bichette's right arm screamed Springer across the forehead, and it seemed as if it was the end of springer's. After being looked at by a coach, Bichette sped up and stayed in the game. As the cart was pulled onto the track, a woozy Springer was helped to his feet. As the cart left the field, the 33-year-old Springer, a four-time All-Star, thrilled the cheering crowd.
