Texas A&M beat Florida 1-0 over a strange 1-0 pre-game deficit

www.dailymail.co.uk, January 5, 2023
In one of the most unusual scenes in recent college basketball history, a game-starting penalty resulted in an administrative technical foul and a 1-0 pre-game deficit for Texas A&M. The Aggies would continue to defeat Florida, 66-63, but only after student equipment operators forgot the team's jerseys at the hotel, so Texas A&M coach Buzz Williams had them hanging in his room to prevent wrinkling. Williams said, 'I forgot the jerseys in my hotel room,' but later admittedly taking responsibility for student resource managers.' Since I used to be a manager, 'That's certainly the right way to say it.' My head coach would have stuck up for me if that had occurred. You don't want the jerseys to wrinkle so they hang them in my room, and I've just forgotten to put them on the bus.'
