A basketball jersey worn by a high-school-aged LeBron James has reportedly broken records after being sold at auction. The jersey was sold at an auction dubbed 'Legends in Motion' by Julien's Auctions - which also featured items from other sports stars like Michael Jordan, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, as well as Taylor Swift and Bruce Lee. But at the auction, James' jersey pulled in the most cash - being sold for a staggering $1.3million (£970,000).

The reviews are in, and critics are suggesting the new remake of The Crow should have flown right past theaters. The dark superhero film, which stars Bill Skargård and the singer FKA Twigs, arrived in theaters on Friday, but reviews were embargoed until around when Thursday night preview screening began, which has come to be seen by Hollywood prognosticators as a marker of studios fearing a poor reception. That turned out to be an accurate prediction, as the film currently has a disappointing 14 percent rotten rating among the most prestigious critics surveyed by Rotten Tomatoes.

The tale follows the soulmates as they are brutally murdered by violent people from Shelly's dark past, and when it comes to saving her, Eric sacrifices himself and becomes The Crow.

FKA twigs and Bill Skarsgard teased a looming revenge twist in The Crow remake, as well as a tale of true love. Bill, 33, portrays superhero Eric Draven/The Crow, a role originating from Bruce Lee's son Brandon, who was tragically killed on the set of the original 1994 version. Bruce had completed the majority of his scenes at the time of the deadly accident, and it still made it to the box office. Shelly Webster, Eric's fiancée, appears in the forthcoming FKA remake. It's FKA's first film appearance since 2019's Honey Boy. Lionsgate had won the The Crow revival in September 2023 after a tense bidding war, according to the story.

Isabel dos Santos is being sued by telecommunications company Unitel SA, a company she founded during her father Jose Eduardo dos Santos Santos' 38-year tenure as president, which came to an end in 2017. For years, the businesswoman has been facing corruption allegations in the southwestern African country, but she has previously told the High Court in London that Angola had "campaign of persecution." Chance Boyer, the actor's son, died unexpectedly of natural causes at a hopistal in Orange County California on May 15. After watching Netflix's latest horror film Splice, users have proclaimed themselves "traumatized for life." Fans have been squirming in their seats after the creepy science fiction horror film debuted on Netflix at the end of March. The film about a young scientific couple who try to incorporate human DNA into their work of slicing animal genes.

The Netflix series Haunted has made viewers so afraid they are unable to sleep. The anthology exhibition focuses on horror stories of people who have experienced terrifying paranormal activity, from a house of horrors to a demon cat that haunts a house of haunts with strange howls and hisses. The whole three series is available on YouTube, but fans of the show have taken to Twitter, claiming that those who watch it will be 'terrified for the rest of your life.'

Richard Lovatt, a native of Huddersfield, has become the first British white man to land a starring role in a Bollywood blockbuster. He has taken over 50 lessons to learn Hindi and will fly to Mumbai to film a film with one of India's biggest production companies. The 32-year-old is dedicated to his role and will be speaking Hindi throughout the film, which is scheduled to air in 2023. (right)

Researchers said yesterday that this could be a sign that they're at a greater risk of age-related diseases such as osteoporosis, hearing loss, and cataracts. Experts in the Netherlands estimated the age of 2,700 people aged 50 to 90, based solely on photographs of their faces, and grilling them on their medical conditions. The findings, which were published in the British Journal of Dermatology, showed that participants who were five years younger than their actual age had improved reasoning skills. They were also 16% less likely to need cataract surgery and 24 percent less likely to experience age-related hearing loss. So, MailOnline has revealed 12 surprising celebrity couples who are the same age but appear to be quite different as a result of the investigation, which was published in the British Journal of Dermatology.

Drinking more water' may cause ageing,' according to US researchers, who urged people to drink the recommended amount of eight glasses a day. The study of more than 11,000 over-30 people tracked sodium levels in their blood, which rises as you drink less fluid. Adults with elevated blood pressure were more likely to experience chronic illness in old age and display signs of biological ageing than those in the medium ranges, according to the researchers.
