The CrossFit Games may have been and gone but, for Ali Crawford, next weekend is the one that matters. It's a stage the 48-year-old from St Leonards has graced several times in the past, most recently in 2022 where she was crowned Fittest in the World for her age category (45-49). Plenty has happened since then, however. A ruptured left bicep, a right shoulder impingement, a hamstring tear and tendonitis are just some of the issues the mother of two has had to battle back from in the last year as she looks to regain her crown - even if she doesn't expect to be in the frame.
