Hey everybody.  I’m really excited to tell you something.  There is a 6ft tall gay, black woman running for Congress and no it’s not me. I want to tell you all about my friend Odessa Kelly odessakellytn and why we need someone like her in Congress. First, she’s a working class mom, she worked for Nashville for 14 years. She’s fighting for racial, economic and environmental justice. She’s pro-choice, pro-union and pro-power to the people. She’s running a grassroots campaign and she’s not beholden to anyone other than the community she serves.  I’m excited about her because I’m seeing working class people of different political backgrounds unify to support her. And that’s a beautiful thing I didn’t think I would see any time soon. See, she never intended to make politics her career. She’s running because she loves her home and she loves the people who live here and she knows how to organize and how to communicate and how to put in the legwork to fight for us down here in the South. She knows the path we’re on is no longer working: Putting money and power ahead of the needs of the people is damaging to us all.  Today is the last to register to vote in Tennessee so make sure you are registered.   I’m asking if you’ll vote. I’m asking if you’re able to donate to Odessa’s campaign, please do. I love the South, I believe in the South. I know we can change if we take our power back from those who do not want to see it progress. Power to the people and people you hold the power. I love you all and thanks for listening. ❤️
