After the woman was sent careening over the Clark-Memorial Bridge by a vehicle that crossed into the oncoming lane, Louisville firefighter Bryce Carden successfully recovered her on Friday. The end result was something out of a movie, with the 18-wheeler somehow threading the needle of the bridge's stanchions before getting wedged between them. The truck's cab was hanging over the Ohio river for about 100 feet, with the motorist enduring for dear life. Fortunately, first-responders like Carden were on the scene, and they were able to remove the woman from her precarious jail using a pulley system. He recalled the incident and how the woman, who has yet to be identified, was 'overcome with emotion' while sitting down with Good Morning America. In the meantime, government officials declared her to be a military vet, and food company Sysco later announced that she is an employee. The probe into police is still ongoing as of writing.
