The French authorities have been accused of a cover up by the brother of a British tourist who was mysteriously shot in the Alps with his family. Zaid al-Hilli has slammed the French investigation and claimed they went 'the wrong way' in their search for the killer, pointing fingers at him instead of local suspects. Saad al-Hilli was gunned down alongside his wife, Iqbal Al-Hilli, 47, and her mother, Suhaila al-Allaf, 74 in September 2012. Destini Decoff, 26, died in the hospital on April 4 less than 72 hours after she was hit by Ryan Sweatt's Honda Civic on Route 85 north of Milford, Massachusetts. Sweatt, 36, told police that he had been threatened with a knife by the four men in Destini's car, but police alleged he made two U-turns before running her over. He faced Framingham District Court on Tuesday charged with murder and his family brawled with Decoff's in the hallway.

Brett Martin, 29, was listed as missing person in NSW police on Friday after his family didn't hear from him for more than two weeks, but Mr Martin responded to the post, advising police that his next few days are likely to be hectic. Mr Martin was last seen at a home in Dee Why, north Sydney, on October 3, and police advised anyone who saw him immediately call police.
