The Ligue 1 match between Toulouse and Montpellier was brought to a halt after tear gas was hurled onto the pitch by away supporters. When the incident occurred 57 minutes in, Toulouse was leading 4-1, players were forced to cover their eyes and nose with their shirt. Play was suspended almost immediately and players were led into the changing rooms by referee Jerome Pignard.
