Career
Moynihan performed with the Derrick Comedy sketch group and appeared in many of their famous internet videos and other projects. In addition, he filmed a supporting role in the group's mystery film Mystery Team, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2009 before a limited theatrical release.
Moynihan played a supporting role in the popular web-series The Line, directed by Lorne Meyers' production company and starring SNL cast members Bill Hader and Jason Sudeikis, which was released in mid-2008. He appeared on Late Night with Conan O'Brien for a few years and was a contributing writer on MTV's Human Giant, and in years past, he submitted scripts to SNL with comedy partner Charlie Sanders. Moynihan has appeared in several comedy shorts for CollegeHumor, including the webseries Every Week on Entourage, where he plays "Turtle" from Entourage. With Yankees broadcaster Michael Kay, Moynihan appeared in a national television commercial campaign in the summer of 2008.
