Beverley Knight (born Beverley Anne Smith, 1973) is an English recording artist and musical theatre actress who debuted her debut album, The B-Funk, in 1995.
Knight, who has been heavily influenced by American soul music legends Sam Cooke and Aretha Franklin, has released eight studio albums to date.
