After his death at the age of 60, tributes have been paid to Grange Hill actor George Armstrong (right). The actor was best known for his role in the children's television drama, which was set in a fictional comprehensive school, and it aired from 1978 to 2008. Tucker Jenkins, played by Todd Carty, Benny Green, Zammo McGuire, Justine Dean, and Norman 'Gripper' Stebson were among the characters to have appeared over the years. But the cast have had varying success in recent years, with some heading to land other roles (left), and others facing battles with alcoholism (second left) and homelessness (second right).
