According to a new study, seven teams in the English top flight have had players or bosses under police scrutiny for sexual crimes over the past three years, but a number of teams have continued to play the characters, and suspected victims have said that responses after reporting allegations to either governing body have been met with delays, inaction, or a lack of transparency on protocols. In some cases, a lack of reaction by the authorities, such as suspending the player while an investigation is being conducted, has resulted in other women being at risk of sexual assault, or in one case, a suspect trying to murder herself.

IAN HERBERT: Liverpool's Dock Road is more attractive than its name implies. From the red brick warehouses to the names of the old shipyards, 'Trafalgar,'Victoria', carved into the mighty granite dock wall, the city's rich maritime history is reflected in this illustrious granite dock wall. The turquoise plaque on the 150th anniversary of Ireland's Great Famine has been engraved with a touching simplicity. The majority of the 1,300,000 Irish migrants were moved through these gates.' The Dock Road in Liverpool lasted from 1989 to 1989, fading away like the pubs which thrived as the dock employees packed them out. But the last ten years have promised a different result. Everton Football Club's reconstruction since the Albert Dock's rebirth in the early 1980s is perhaps the most signifi-cant boost to the Liverpool club's revival.
