Life
Peter Bence began playing piano early and wrote his first original composition at age 7, which was heavily inspired by Mozart and Chopin's music. Green Music, his first solo piano album of his early works, was released in 2002 at the age of 11. Nightfall, his second album, came out in 2008. Many pianists have requested Piano Piece Based on Fibonacci Sequence, an audition work performed in 2009, to be accompanied by some pianists. He was already accepted at Franz Liszt University of Music in Debrecen by teachers and peers, and he was still attending elementary school.
Peter began to show a keen interest in film music, particularly John Williams' music, which has opened up a new world for him and made him further investigate himself musically.
He continued his studies as a scholar at Berklee College of Music in Hungary as a film scoring and piano major. Despite being involved in every form of music, Michael Jackson had his greatest influence on him.
With 765 key hits, he held the Guinness World Record for the "most piano key hits in a minute" in January 2012.
While at Berklee and in 2015 with his arrangement of Michael Jackson's 'Bad' he came to prominence, receiving ten million views in a few days. On Facebook and YouTube combined, he has more than 500 million cumulative video views. He has performed for tens of thousands of people in 40 countries, opened BBC's Proms in Hyde Park, London, for 50,000 people, and appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show's website, BBC, Buzzfeed, Classic FM, iHeart Radio, and Billboard in the last two years alone. He is currently finishing his debut album, which will feature some of his best covers and solo piano compositions.
The International Art Society in Volos, Greece, awarded him the 1st Prize of InterArtia 2015 international competition in the category Pop Piano.
