In his new memoir, Best Possible Place, Worst Possible Time, Sonnenfeld recounts how Garner ended up comforting him despite her own emotional pain when he became upset at the news.

Mr Smith has admitted that he is a 'gassy' person. Passing gas is a normal function of healthy digestion and, except for occasional public embarrassment, is nothing to worry about. However, excessive flatulence could indicate irritable bowel syndrome , a gut bacteria imbalance, or a lactose or gluten allergy.

Barry Sonnenfeld, who directed the 1997 action comedy Men In Black, has opened up about what it was like working with Will Smith.  While appearing on the podcast Let's Talk Off Camera With Kelly Ripa, Sonnenfeld recalled a time when the movie set had to be evacuated 'for about three hours' due to the 56-year-old's flatulence.  Per the director's recollection, the incident took place when Smith and co-star Tommy Lee Jones were in a transforming car that required them to be 'hermetically sealed' in a pod.
