Strictly Come Dancing's Amy Dowden defiantly insisted she is proud of her body in a new interview.  The professional dancer, 34,  made the candid confession on Wednesday's episode of Lorraine where she was joined by her dance partner JB Gill.  The Welsh ballroom dancer told the show's host: 'I'm proud of my body' as she recounted her struggles with weight gain following her cancer treatment.

Aston Merrygold was all smiles during the gala performance of The Wizard of Oz at the Gillian Lynne Theatre. The former member of JLS, 36, is playing the Tin Man in the run of West End performances which began on Thursday.  The singer was announced as part of the cast earlier this month alongside  RuPaul's Drag Race UK winner The Vivienne as The Wicked Witch of the West.

The JLS singer, 37, who tied-the-knot with dancer Chloe, 34, back in January 2014 after four years, was announced as part of the Strictly 2024 series line-up last week. And speaking exclusively to MailOnline about his upcoming appearance on the BBC show, JB said he and Chloe have 'incredible communication' and insisted that his time on the show will 'not change that'.

The Love Islander, 25, couldn't wipe the smile off her face as she cut a sporty appearance in a simple black long-sleeved gym top and matching leggings.  The reality star, who wears a cochlear implant, will be the second deaf contestant to appear on the show after Rose Ayling-Ellis lifted the glitterball trophy back in 2021. 

Gladiator star Montell Douglas has become the twelfth celebrity to be confirmed for the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing.  The star is best known as Fire from the BBC One series of Gladiators, however prior to her TV fame she competed as an Olympic Bobsledder and Team GB Sprinter.  Back in 2010 the sports star won a Commonwealth Gold in the 4x100m relay race and she also held the British woman's record for fastest 100m sprint.

A coroner has apologised to the heartbroken family of a JLS dancer after an inquest failed to provide answers over his death. Jack Pointer Mackenzie (left), 35, was found dead at his home in Brent, London, on September 5 last year. During an inquest at Barnet Coroner's Court today, coroner Tony Murphy explained that the medical and evidential cause of death remained unclear after investigations and apologised to the family for the uncertainty. The inquest heard that Jack, who was born in Paddington, struggled with depression and was 'known by his family to have issues with alcohol'.

After Nathan Palmer's (left) services did not meet their hopes, Jamie and Nathan Sussex-Smith (right) had to seek assistance from another tailor. Penarth Brands, a £10,353 County Court Judgement against Mr Palmer's company, has been launched. Mr Palmer reportedly told the Sussex-Smiths that he'd be making the bridesmaids' dresses. Despite planning to embark on a comeback tour around the UK this summer, JLS haven't ruled out the possibility of releasing new music.
