Despite a string of setbacks, Putin is expected to launch another big offensive in the hopes of boosting his armies' momentum and securing victory in Ukraine once and for all, according to Kyiv's defence minister Oleksiy Reznikov. The Ukrainian defense minister said the true number of the force could be closer to 500,000, referring to Russia's partial mobilization of 300,000 conscripted troops, which Moscow announced in November.
