Ellie is Immune to the Fungus, according to her "The Last of Us" a description
www.popsugar.co.uk,
March 13, 2023
Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) have been inspired by one passion: to find out if her strange and perhaps unique immunity to the cordyceps fungus and brain disease can be used to obtain a worldwide cure. Joel was skeptical of the trip, but Tess (Anna Torv), who died young, so he takes on the challenge. Several people died along the way, adding to Ellie's sense of urgency; she also attempted to cure Sam (Keivonn Woodard) when she was bitten.
Although Ellie was not immune in "The Last of Us" video game, it did give a good hint. In the season finale, the show hinted canon, illustrating Ellie's origins, but the reason why she may be the cure may not be a red herring. We're going to break it down right now.

The 8.1 million same-day viewers increase by 74% over the series premiere on January 15, which was watched by 4.7 million viewers.
Here's Why. Episode 5 of "The Last of Us" may be the most shocking to date
www.popsugar.co.uk,
February 13, 2023
Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) were pictured on episode five of "The Last of Us," which was streamed two days earlier on February 10, 2002, and they were on a quest to flee Kansas City and begin their journey west. Henry (Lamar Johnson) and Sam (Keivonn Woodard), two Kansas City natives who are desperate to escape, are aided by Henry (Lamar Johnson) and Sam (Keivonn Woodard). Henry collaborated with FEDRA when the city was still in existence, as shown by episode four, and now Kathleen (Melanie Lynskey) and her band of rebels are determined on hunting him down and killing him.
Sam and Henry appear in "The Last of Us" based on a video game of the same name, and they will ultimately experience the same fate as they do on the program. However, the sequence actually changes their course to that end. We're getting the show's and its effect on the TV show right now.

The Last of Us - the game vs TV show: How HBO series compares to best-selling Playstation original
www.dailymail.co.uk,
February 4, 2023
The Last of Us captivates audiences and commentators around the world, with others already claiming it as one of the best shows to be broadcast this year. Following a global pandemic that has turned millions of citizens into fungus-infected zombies, HBO seems to have hit gold on the show, which follows a smuggler escorting a teenage girl across a post-apocalyptic Unites States. More than 22 million viewers have watched the first episode since it premiered in the United States - the network's second biggest debut since 2010, House of the Dragon, and House of the Dragon have already renewed for a second season. The series is based on an extremely popular PlayStation game of the same name, and some commentators have already praised it as the best video game adaptation of all time. Many fans were curious to see how the show would translate onto the screen, and which actors would play the characters they had grown to know and love. So how do the characters from the video game stack up compared to their TV versions?
The Last Of Us by JACI STEPHEN is a JACI STEPHEN's infectious love-it-hate-it story
www.dailymail.co.uk,
January 30, 2023
STEPHEN: I eagerly awaited the long-awaited kiss at the end of episode two of The Last Of Us, HBO's 2013 adventure video game. A zombie, or more accurately, a thing resembling a Ben and Jerry's Rain-dough Cookie Dough Twist, leaned in for a smacker with Tess (Anna Torv) who, up to this point, seemed to be the protagonist of the story. With what seemed like worms on acid slithering out if its mouth, Rain Dough Man - or Woman? Who knows - the gingery feelers locked lips with Tess, who didn't seem to be opposed to the procedure. If this was supposed to be a moment of trembling, it failed miserably. The most reaction I could summon up was 'No tongues, please!' It was just ridiculous. I've had boyfriends who are much worse kissers, to be honest. Tess was already on her way out, having been infected with a Ben and Jerry killer zombie long before the kiss. We knew this because Ophiocordyceps, which is known as a fungus with the ability to exercise'mind control' on insect hosts, but not to which humans are immune. Allegedly.
How "The Last of Us" Changed Bill and Frank's Story to Make Its Best Episode Yet
www.popsugar.co.uk,
January 30, 2023
This third episode of "The Last of Us" is a major departure from what came before. That's because Ellie (Bella Ramsey) and Joel (Pedro Pascal) appear only at the beginning and the end of the episode. Bill (Nick Offerman) and Frank ("The White Lotus")' Murray Bartlett) and their families' links during the pandemic outbreak caused by the fungus that changed everything in the world. The series expands their lives and alters their endings, showing us much more than the video game the show is based on. Ahead, we're all about Joel and Ellie's demise. We're getting to the point of hearing what happens to them in the show, the changes the series made to their plot, and that it's all the more devastating for them.
Ellie and Joel are on foot to Lincoln, Massachusetts, where Bill and Frank live. There, they can get supplies and perhaps even a car with Bill's help so they can continue west and search for Joel's brother, Tommy (Gabriel Luna). As the outbreak began, the military herded up people in small towns to quarantine zones, according to Joel. However, if they turned out there wasn't enough space for the new citizens, the military executed them instead.

Rupert Murdoch's new obsession with a glamorous widow is discussed by a close friend
www.dailymail.co.uk,
January 17, 2023
ALISON BOSHOFF and DANIEL BATES: In the admittedly unlikely event of Rupert Murdoch - the billionaire media owner and one of the world's most powerful people - ever resorting to placing a lonely-hearts advert, what would he say he was looking for in a woman? So far, his marriages have been successful: model, researcher, media executive, and model. Jerry Hall, his most recent wife, who was dumping by email, was very outgoing and well-connected. Wendi Deng, her predecessor, was brimming with intelligence. Anna Torv, the mother of three of his six children, was said to be his moral compass, and Patricia Booker, his first wife, was a young model who married when he was only 25 years old. But, now that 91-year-old Murdoch's fourth divorce has been announced in August, there is yet another exciting match to play. Ann-Lesley Smith, a 66-year-old California widow, is his new companion.

Rupert Murdoch was seen on Thursday by DailyMail.com in Los Angeles, California, heading to Fox Studios. In a dark Range Rover, the 91-year-old was chauffeured from his Bel Air estate. The spectacle took place the day after he announced his separation from former supermodel Jerry Hall, 66, on the day. In Los Angeles, Hall applied for divorce, citing 'irreconcilable differences' from the billionaire media mogul. The couple's official break comes just five weeks after their split became public, but they continue to be 'good friends.' Murdoch, the CEO and Chairman of media company News Corp, has a fortune of $18.8 billion.
Which mansion WILL Jerry Hall get?Supermodel and Rupert Murdoch filed for divorce in California

August 11, 2022
This morning's news that their marriage took place just five weeks after it was announced publicly, but the former couple (left in 2016) insist they're still good friends.' The filing of the divorce in California, rather than in the United Kingdom, where they were married, would have influenced the kind of contract agreed, according to experts. Murdoch's bid may have been harmed by the prospect of everything he earned since being published 50/50, as well as the media mogul's finances and tax dealings being made public. California is a community property state, meaning that any money, property, or real estate acquired during the marriage will be divided in two by default. Rupert and Jerry's net worth has increased from £9.8 billion [$12 billion] to £14.7 billion [$18 billion] since they first walked down the aisle six years ago. Ms Hall's decision for divorce hearings in California will have compelled him to seek a divorce quickly,' according to lawyer Mark Stephens of Howard Kennedy's firm, because he has more money than he knows what to do with and can spend it to make the case disappear.' 'Murdoch has now understood that it is better to get a deal done quickly rather than face court in California,' he said. "I suspect he would have agreed to pay for Ms Hall's employees, jets, cars, and lifestyle,' he said. It will cost him multi-millions of pounds a year. He is also expected to sell her several of the houses she has purchased in their time together - or significant amounts of money to buy her new ones.'

Jerry Hall and media mogul Rupert Murdoch (pictured at their wedding and in 2016) have agreed on the terms of their split and remain good friends, as he was sent with the papers just five weeks after he was issued with the papers. Hall had begged judges to dismiss her divorce complaint against Murdoch, but they learned they had reached an out-of-court deal only hours later. Mr Murdoch's spokeswoman released a statement on behalf of the former couple last night. The spokesman characterized it as a 'joint statement from Robert S. Cohen, attorney for Rupert Murdoch, and Judy Poller, attorney for Jerry Hall,' in an email. The letter read: 'Jerry Hall and Rupert Murdoch have announced their separation.' They are good friends and wish each other the best for the future.'
