Early life
Angelique was born in Nassau, Bahamas, on February 7, 1998, and was brought up in a family with a rich musical history. Gregg White, her music producer, was the first to sign Alternative hip-hop group Arrested Development. Angelique grew up as a music student. She began studying piano, guitar, and drums as an infant and spent extensive personal time researching Broadway and Disney films, as well as musicians like Frank Sinatra and Diana Ross.
She appeared on stage for the first time at a talent pageant that she entered at the age of 9. She performed an original song she wrote especially for the occasion and was ranked first runner-up. Angelique went on to appear at numerous school plays and events. When Angelique's first original songs were on local radio stations in The Bahamas, she was already 11 years old.
