Holly Flanders, his mother, was a three-time champion on the FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup circuit. Todd Schlopy, his father, is a former NFL placekicker for the Buffalo Bills. Erik Schlopy, Todd's cousin, was a former alpine skier who competed at three Olympics editions.
