Alana Spencer (born 11 February 1992) is an entrepreneur from Aberystwyth.

She is best known for winning the twelfth series of BBC One's The Apprentice in 2016.

Spencer, the first Welsh winner of the series, was given a £250,000 grant by Lord Sugar for her luxury cake business, Ridiculously Rich by Alana.Alana Spencer, a sixteen-year-old chocolatier, started selling her chocolates to customers, family, and teachers before attracting the attention of two shops in Aberystwyth.

Alana decided to leave school and pursue her career dream in 2010.

She began making tray-baked cakes alongside her chocolates and moved production to a purpose-built country kitchen in her parents' back garden, despite initially calling her company Narna's.

Alana applied to become a contender on BBC One's The Apprenticeship in 2016, requesting Lord Sugar's £250,000 investment, which she received.

Early life

She grew up in Loughborough and Llanrhystud, Ceredigion, and studied at Ysgol Gyfun Aberaeron for her education, where, at the age of 16, she received her first chocolate order for one of her teachers.

Amani Zubair and her online jewelry business Gimme Gold, once known as Tresor, have called it off. Amani, 21, didn't appear on The Apprentice but reached out to Lord Sugar's company during lockout and got a direct response from him, which led to his investment.

Lord Sugar continues to work alongside Harpreet Kaur, who won the show 18 months later: "The time has come for us to go our separate ways."
