According to Pang, the "experimental" leave was made possible by a prior deal with Mediacorp executives and that he is interested in returning to Mediacorp or participating in Mediacorp projects in the future. He did not appear in the last few episodes of New City Beat and appeared in Channel 8's drama series With You at this time.
