Rachael Carpani and Aaron Jeffery are both due to make their Summer Bay debuts later this year to take on guest roles on the popular soap opera. Rachael is best known for playing Jodi Fountain on McLeod's Daughters, while she previously held a minor role on Home and Away as a diner waitress in 2001.

Home and Away star Matt Evans revealed the long-running soap will kill off one of its beloved characters next week.  The Channel Seven actor, 26, appeared on The Morning Show on Friday to share the plot twist in a very dramatic announcement.  Though the Voice Australia star has stayed mum about who exactly will get the cut, Matt insisted one unlucky character's days were numbered in Summer Bay.
