About Ever After

The Brothers Grimm arrive at the home of a wealthy Grande Dame who speaks of the many legends surrounding the fable of the cinder girl before telling the "true" story of her ancestor.

A young woman is forced into servitude after the death of her father. Her stepmother then has her do all the household chores while she seeks to marry off her own daughters. The film is an modern adaptation of the classic Grimm fairytale Cinderella.
