D'Juan Montrel Hart (born January 15, 1979), also known as Young Dro, is an American rapper.

Young Dro allied himself with fellow Atlanta-based rapper T.I. after winning attention with his regional hit song "Yes Sir" from his 2002 independent album I Got That Dro, he and fellow Atlanta-based rapper T.I. In 2004, he began his brand, Grand Hustle, and became famous.

'Best Thang Smokin', Young Dro's debut, was unveiled in August 2006 under the name of Grand Hustle and Atlantic Records.

The album was preceded by his debut single, "Shoulder Lean," which served as the album's lead single and was a hit in the urban and Billboard charts.

Young Dro's second album High Times debuted seven years later on October 15, 2013, under Grand Hustle, Atlantic, and E1.

It gave rise to the single "FDB," his highest charting single since "Shoulder Lean."

1979–2006: The beginning of life and the greatest thang Smokin'

Young Dro was born D'Juan Hart in Bankhead, a neighborhood on Atlanta's west side, on January 15, 1979. Chris "Daddy Mack" Smith, one half of Kris Kross, inspired him to rap. (Players Only Live Once) On February 23, 2011, he released Equestrian Dro., a mixtape. I Co-Sign Myself, a 2011 mixtape, was released on March 17, 2011. Drocabulary, a mixtape, was released on July 8, 2011. We Outchea, a 2012 mixtape, was released on January 16, 2012. R.I.P. was a mixtape that was released on July 24, 2012. 2 (I Killed That Shit). Ralph Lauren Reefa, a Brazilian rapper, was released on September 26, 2012. The first single from his second studio album "FDB" was announced on March 28, 2013. In honor of his second studio album, Young Dro released the mixtape Day Two on June 17, 2013. On July 10, 2013, Young Dro announced that he'd be releasing his second studio album, titled High Times, in October 2013. The album's front cover was revealed on September 18, 2013; it was announced that the album would be released on October 15, 2013. The track-listing was revealed on September 30, 2013, announcing guest appearances on Forgeeauto, Mac Boney, T.I., Spodee, Incident, Natasha Mosley, Blu June, Doe B and Miloh Smith's album. The second single from High Times, "Strong," was released on September 30, 2013. According to the Billboard 200 and at #5 on the Top Rap Albums chart, the High Times will debut at #57 on the Billboard 200 and at #9 on the Top Rap Albums chart.

The first single from his third studio album "We in da City" was released on February 27, 2015. Young Dro announced on April 27, 2015, that he would debut Da Reality Show, his third studio album, in the summer of 2015. It was announced on September 18, 2015.

Boot Me Up, a joint mixtape with Zaytoven, was released on May 17, 2016.

He was arrested at Georgia Southern University in August 2016 for smoking a handgun and opioids.

T.I. announced his retirement from performing live, but not before he delivers one last show before ending his illustrious hip-hop career. In an interview with Atlanta's 96.1 The Beat and hosts Ferrari Simmons and BT, the Dead And Gone star revealed that his upcoming show at the station's upcoming Jingle Ball festival will be his final farewell. The rapper is headlining the December 19 show in Atlanta with Sexyy Red, T-Pain, Saweetie , The Kid Laroi , Khalid and Tinashe. 'I appreciate y'all for offering me my last working gig because I do not need the money anymore and I will not be performing,' the About The Money star, 44, said when he sat down with Young Dro, as reported by Billboard . 'I don't want to do it anymore,' he said of the radio station's holiday concert. 'I don't want people to pay me to hop around and sweat for their entertainment anymore.'
