Early life
Martinez, a Cuban-American, was born in Puerto Rico and raised in Miami. Martinez studied ballet for ten years before beginning to act. She is the grandniece of prima ballerina Alicia Alonso.
Career
She began her television work with guest-starring roles. She appeared in The Hitcher's support in 2007. She returned to television later in life and had several guest and recurring roles on dramatic series.
