William Joseph Crawford, better known as Ya Boy on stage, is an American rapper from San Francisco, California, who is known as a Freddie Johnson.
He was formerly signed to Konvict Muzik and Kon Live Distribution, both of Akon's brands.
Musical career
Ya Boy signed to Game's Warner Brothers distributed label The Black Wall Street Records in late 2006. After being on the label's first appearance – a mixtape, The Black Wall Street Journal, Vol. – Vol. – 2010. 1 – Ya Boy's second full-length album Holla at Ya Boy began to collaborate with a variety of well-known designers, including Scott Storch, Araab Muzik and Cool & Dre. "Holla at Ya Boy," the album's lead single, was released in early 2008.
Ya Boy, a member of Nitevision, began "Black Card Music" in 2009 and signed to Mack 10's Hoo-Bangin' Records. However, he would leave the brand and go to Konvict Muzik and Kon Live Distribution in 2010. On August 10, 2011, he released his first single, "Party Girls," starring Rico Love and a second single "Lockdown" starring his boss Akon.
