Wynne Evans (born 27 January 1972) is a Welsh tenor.
In the 25th anniversary production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, he was known for his role as the tenor Gio Compario in the Gocompare.com insurance ads on television in the United Kingdom.
In 2004, he sang "Cwm Rhondda" in response to the New Zealand All Blacks' Haka, singing "Cwm Rhondda."
He went on to perform at more than 30 Welsh International rugby matches.

Personal life
Evans is a trustee of The Elizabeth Evans Trust. Elizabeth Evans, MBE, was Evans' mother, who founded and operated Both The Carmarthen Youth Opera and The Lyric Theatre in Carmarthen for 25 years. Evans died in 2004, and his two brothers followed her in establishing the Trust.
