Stephen Wilson Bethel (born February 24, 1984) is an American actor.

Wade Kinsella of Hart of Dixie, as Ryder Callahan on CBS daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless, and as Agent Benjamin "Dex" Poindexter on Netflix's original series Daredevil, he is best known for his role as Wade Kinsella on Hart of Dixie.

He is also the creator and producer of the web series Stupid Hype on the CW's latest online platform CWD (CW Digital Studio).

Bethel was born in Hillsborough, New Hampshire, on February 24, 1984. He is the son of writer Steve Bethel and author Joyce Maynard. On November 28, 2020, he married Liesl Martinez-Balaguer. Bethel is Jewish.

In the episode "The Telenovela," Bethel made his on-screen debut as Brad in the teen drama series The O.C. In the Emmy-nominated mini-series Generation Kill, starring Alexander Skarsgrd, he appeared in JAG, Cold Case, and NCIS. Bethel made his film debut in the 2008 Vietnam War film, 1968 Tunnel Rats, in which he played Corporal Green, the Army Special Ops soldier. He landed a regular role as Ryder Callahan on CBS daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless in 2009.

Bethel played Wade Kinsella, the series's "bad-boy" neighbor to the series's central protagonist, Zoe Hart, in The CW's comedy-drama series Hart of Dixie. The show debuted in early 2011, and it premiered on September 26, 2011. After four seasons, the series came to an end on May 7, 2015. He was ranked 14 on "TV's Sexiest Guys of 2011" by BuddyTV; in 2012, he was ranked #14 on the same list; in 2012, he was ranked #1 on the list. In four episodes of ABC's legal drama series How to Get Away with Murder as Charles Mahoney.

He appeared in The Last Match, the Roundabout Theatre Company's production of professional tennis, in 2017. Benjamin "Dex" Poindexter, a composite of Bullseye and Nuke, appeared on Daredevil in 2018. Bethel took center stage in CBS' legal drama series All Rise as Deputy District Attorney Mark Callan in 2019.
