William Ash (born 13 January 1977) is a British actor.
Soldier Soldier (Series 3-4), Where the Heart Is (1997–98), Where the Heart Is (1997–99), Clocking Off (2001–02), Waterloo Road (2009–2011), and The Tunnel (2016). He is best known for his appearances in the television series Soldier Soldier (Series 3-4).

Career
Ash was born in Chadderton, near Oldham, and his first television appearance was as Spike in Coronation Street, age 10. Nicky appeared in Making Out (1989-1991) on a regular basis, followed by a regular appearance in the ITV series Where the Heart Is. He has since appeared in Mad About Mambo, Clocking Down, Children's Ward, Lilies, Born to Run, ShakespeaRe-Told (A Midsummer Night's Fantasy), Doctor Who, Conviction, Hush, Waterloo Road, and Shameless, among other things. He appeared in Heartbeat in 1995. In 2006, he portrayed Albert Scanlon, a Manchester United footballer, in an adaptation of the BBC series Surviving Disasters about the Munich air disaster of 1958, in which Scanlon was a survivor.
Ash's stage appearances include the premiere performances of Presence at the Royal Court Theatre in 2001 and of How to Disappear Completely and Never Be Found at Sheffield Theatres, as well as Of Mice and Men at Edinburgh's Royal Lyceum Theatre.
Ash played Lapland, a BBC comedy drama set in December 2011, playing a role he reprises for a new series called Being Eileen. Beggsy appeared in the ITV comedy drama series Great Night Out in 2013.
