Will Merrick (born 9 April 1993) is an English film and stage actor.
As the character Alo Creevey, he made his debut in the third generation of the BAFTA award-winning E4 television series Skins.
Early life and education
Merrick hails from Ledbury, Herefordshire. In 2009, he was one of the top ten of over 50,000 candidates nationally in his drama GCSE examination.

Career
Merrick, a member of the Close Up Theatre, appeared in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2010 and 2011, starring Posner and Arthur Miller in the role of Charley. At the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2011-2013, Merrick formed No Prophet at 18 and appeared in Punk Rock, a stage performance by Simon Stephens, and Ella Hickson's book Boys.
Merrick made his first television appearance in the E4 teen drama Skins in 2011, playing Alo Creevey. Originally, he auditioned in Bristol for the role of Rich Hardbeck and then became Alo during the audition process. He characterized his character as a "loving person, very open-minded, positive, and enthusiastic guy."
Merrick received the RTS Award for Best Actor in February 2012, along with Dakota Blue Richards, his co-star in Skins. He received also a nomination for Best Actor at the 2012 Television Choice Awards for his role as Alo Creevey.
Merrick appeared in an episode of BBC One family sitcom In May 2012, Merrick performed Dean in which he appeared in "In the Flynns." In the same year, he had his first big screen role as Jay in Richard Curtis' latest romantic comedy About Time, alongside Hollywood actress Rachel McAdams and Domhnall Gleeson.
Merrick appeared in a 2013 episode of the famous sci-fi television show Doctor Who, where he played a character named Brains. In an episode of Coming Up that aired on Channel 4 in July 2013, Tom was also a guest star in fantasy BBC series Atlantis.
