Vivian Campbell Life

Vivian Patrick Campbell (born 25 August 1962) is a Northern Irish rock guitarist.

He came to prominence in the early 1980s as a member of Dio, and he has been a member of Def Leppard since 1992 (replacing Steve Clark after his death). Campbell has also worked with Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake, Sweet Savage, Trinity, Riverdogs, and Shadow King.

Personal life

Campbell now lives in New Hampshire and has two children with ex-wife Julie Campbell. Campbell married longtime girlfriend Caitlin Phaneuf on July 4, 2014 after being divorced. He also plays football with Hollywood United F.C., a team made up mainly of celebrities and former professional football players.

Campbell revealed on June 10, 2013 that he had Hodgkin's lymphoma. Despite the fact that he announced in November 2013 that he was in partial remission, he denied it in June 2014, saying the statement was premature. He began stem-cell therapy in late 2014 and by October 2015, he announced that although the cancer is still present, he is doing much better with immunotherapy, and that pesozumab is the product of three weeks of therapy.
