Zdorovetskiy prank a Boca Raton Resort man and told him they had 60 seconds to get away from a briefcase he placed on the ground. After Zdorovetskiy revealed the whole thing to be a prank and that there was a hidden camera nearby, the man began attacking his partner and his partner, then called the cops. Zdorovetskiy was arrested by Boca Raton's police department on suspicion of attempting to detonate a bomb. Vitaly fought the charges and a potential prison term, and retained Roger P. Foley, a top criminal defense prosecutor, to bring the lawsuit to trial. The prosecution dismissed the complaint shortly after taking the deposition of the alleged perpetrator. Zdorovetskiy's YouTube channel had only 100,000 followers at the time of the prank, but after the incident, his following increased to over four million viewers in less than a year.
In the film "Extreme Homeless Man Makeover," Zdorovetskiy befriends a homeless man named Martin and gives him new clothing and a hotel room. Martin accepted a work offer as a result of the video posting. He and his wife were also reunited. Zdorovetskiy pulled a stunt that involved himself as Leatherface from The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, posing as Leatherface from The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and threatening to saw off the legs of Hanhart syndrome patient Nick Santonastasso with a chainsaw in front of unsuspecting witnesses. In 3 weeks, the prank went viral, getting over 30 million views in a matter of days.
