Vincent Cavanagh (born in Liverpool on August 29, 1973) is an English singer and guitarist best known as a co-founder (and sole permanent member) of British rock band Anathema.

Following the departure of Darren "Daz" White from the group following the Pentecost III EP, Vincent took over as Anathema's vocalist.

When the band went from doom metal to a more ambient/progressive rock style, he began playing keyboards. He is also the twin of Jamie Cavanagh, the band's bassist.

Solo career

After Anathema's retirement in 2020, Vincent decided to concentrate on his solo project The Radicant. It's the umbrella alias of his creative output, encompassing a transdisciplinary exploration of music, sound art, multimedia, and technology. The Radicant is a botanical term used to describe a plant that has no roots but is also in motion.
