Vince Neil Life

Vincent Neil Wharton (born February 8, 1961) is an American singer.

He is best known as the lead vocalist of heavy metal band Mötley Crüe, which he co-founded in 1981, but he has also released three albums as a solo artist.

He is well-known for his personal life, which has resulted in several arrests and convictions, including one for vehicular manslaughter.

Early life

Neil was born in Hollywood, California, to Shirley (née Ortiz) and Clois "Odie" Wharton. He has Mexican ancestry on his mother's side as well as Native American ancestry on his father's. His family moved around Southern California during the 1960s, from Inglewood to Watts, before finally settling in Glendora, attending Sunflower Intermediate School and later Royal Oak High School. Neil was also interested in surfing, basketball, baseball, football, and wrestling as a youth.

Personal life

Neil Jason Wharton, a girlfriend of Tami (last name unknown), was born on October 3, 1978.

In 1981, Neil married Beth Lynn, his first wife; they divorced in 1985. Elizabeth Ashley Wharton, their one daughter, was born on October 29, 1983.

Neil married Sharise Ruddell, a mud wrestler and fashion model, in April 1987. Before divorcing in 1993, the couple had one child, Skylar Lynnae Neil (March 26, 1991-August 15, 1995).

He began dating actress and Playboy Playmate Heidi Mark after a blind date was scheduled by her makeup artist in early 1993. They were engaged within two months and married in 2000. They divorced in 2001 after just 15 months of marriage and several attempts at reconciliation.

In January 2005, Neil married Lia Gerardini, his fourth wife. The ceremony was hosted by MC Hammer, an ordained minister and fellow cast member of The Surreal Life. Neil and his wife announced their separation in 2010.

Skylar Neil, Neil and Ruddell's daughter, died of cancer at the age of four on August 15, 1995. In her honour, he established the Skylar Neil Memorial Fund. Since that time, Neil and the foundation have raised funds for various children's illnesses. The Skylar Neil Memorial Foundation has contributed millions of dollars to The T.J. Martell Foundation, which also sponsors an annual golf tournament to raise funds for children with cancer. As part of his Mötley Crüe, Poison, and the New York Dolls tour, Neil hosted a series of charitable events named Rockin' The Red Carpet, which helped with Music for Relief in mid-2011.

Neil, along with his bandmates, were well-known for using cocaine, LSD, and heroin during the 1980s, but bandmate Nikki Sixx became addicted to cocaine and opium even before joining the band, and even during his rise to Mötley Crüe, being heavily dependent on heroin. Due to heavy use of opioids, Neil, as well as his bandmates, went back to rehab.

Hanoi Rocks, a Finnish hard rock band, was on their second American tour and first to reach California in late 1984. The two shows, which were supposed to be held in Los Angeles, sold out in less than 20 minutes. Nicholas "Razzle" Dingley and the other members of the band, with the exception of singer Michael Monroe, who was recovering from a fractured ankle, spent the day in Redondo Beach on December 8. After hours of partying, Neil and Razzle decided to visit a local liquor store in De Tomaso Pantera. Neil, who was inebriated, lost control of the car and crashed into a slacken vehicle. The two occupants of the other vehicle were critically injured and sustained brain injury, and Dingley was killed. Neil was charged with vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence of alcohol in connection with the accident. His blood alcohol content was 0.17, much higher than the California legal minimum of 0.05 at the time. Judge Edward Hinz, Jr., a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge, sentenced Neil to 30 days in prison and five years of probation in September 1985. Neil was ordered to pay $2.6 million in restitution to the victims of the fire and 200 hours of community service. Neil was released after 15 days in prison for good conduct, and Mötley Crüe's third studio album, Theatre of Pain, was released to Razzle.

In 2002, Neil was arrested for punching record producer Michael Schuman in a nightclub parking lot. Neil was ordered to perform restitution and serve in community service.

Neil was arrested in 2003 after being charged with assaulting a sex employee at the Moonlite BunnyRanch by grasping her around the neck and throwing her against a wall. Neil pleaded no contest to battery charges on April 9, 2004, and he was sentenced to a 30-day prison term. He was required to complete 60 days of anger management training and was fined $1,000 in court fees of $132.

Following a confrontation on October 30, where a soundman lay unconscious for 45 minutes, he was issued a warrant for misdemeanor assault on December 15, 2004. The singer had been given a criminal-trespass warning before he left the club and headed to Houston for a Halloween performance.

Neil was arrested in Las Vegas on suspicion of DUI after police discovered him doing some erratic moves in his Ferrari. Neil later reached an understanding with prosecutors in which he pleaded guilty to reckless driving in exchange for them to drop the DUI charge in exchange.

In June 2010, Neil was arrested in Las Vegas on suspicion of impaired driving after reportedly smashing a fan's camera and being released on a $2,000 bond. Neil pleaded guilty to inebriated driving and was sentenced to 15 days in the Clark County jail as well as 15 days in house detention on January 26, 2011.

After an altercation with ex-girlfriend Alicia Jacobs in March 2011, Neil was charged with battery and disorderly conduct. During an arraignment arrest and release of a warrant on May 2, 2011, Neil's lawyers pleaded not guilty on his behalf. He was ordered to remain away from Jacobs, but was set to appear in court on August 8. Neil's trial was postponed for November 7 due to an unexplained emergency.

Sohrob Farudi sued Neil, along with Rockstar Investment Group president Mark Daniels and Vice President Robert Hewko for misconduct in December 2015 over a $500,000 investment in the Las Vegas Outlaws arena football team. After his home in Danville was discovered to have wasted over 2,200 gallons per day, Neil was also cited by the East Bay area of San Francisco for in violation of the daily water cap of 1,000 gallons. Neil was fined $2.50 per gallon for the cap, the total amount paid to over $150,000. He claimed on Facebook that he had not lived in that house for more than five years.

Neil was charged with misdemeanor battery for assaulting a woman outside of the Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas in April 2016. When Kelly pulled her to the ground by her hair before actor Nicolas Cage restrained him, he approached him for an autograph. Neil pleaded guilty and reached an agreement to get six months of probation, but was fined $1,000. Guerrero filed a lawsuit against Neil for $150,000 in medical bills, missed wages, and mental instability as a result of the incident. Neil ordered that the lawsuit be dismissed out, denying all charges of wrongdoing and accusing Guerrero of seeking attention. Since Neil refused to pay $187,364.01 in legal fees, Howard & Howard Attorneys, PLLC, filed a lien against him on December 10, 2018. A federal judge ordered Neil to pay Howard & Howard $170,169.56 on July 8, 2019.

Vince Neil Career

Music career

Neil was discovered while playing with his band Rock Candy and then Mötley Crüe in 1981. After seeing Neil perform live at drummer Tommy Lee's request, the newly formed band was looking for a lead vocalist and was impressed by him. Lee had met Neil in high school and felt that his image would complement the new band well. Neil Mötley Crüe's debut album Too Fast for Love appeared on Mötley Crüe in 1981. Mötley Crüe's next album, 1983's Shout at the Devil, propelled the band to international prominence, as well as a number of hit records in the decade, including Theatre of Pain, Girls, Girls, Girls, and Girls, as well as the number one album, Dr. Feelgood, who founded the band as one of the world's most popular rock acts. Neil is the least artistic and least interested in the band's development process, according to producer Tom Werman, who produced much of Mötley Crüe's material in the 1980s.

Following the unveiling of Mötley Crüe's 1991 greatest hits album Decade of Decayence 81-91, Neil and the band parted ways. Neil's drinking was starting to affect his playing, and after he failed to turn up for a band rehearsal on February 10, 1992, Sixx, Lee and Mars said the singer was "holding us back." The band cited Neil's race car's driving in the Indy Lights circuit as the reason for the decision, unveiling a statement that read, "Race car driving has become a priority in Neil's life." He didn't have to show their determination and enthusiasm for music, which he didn't share with them." Sixx's firing revealed that the band was open to him in the hopes of finding a new lead vocalist, with Sixx's comment "We are down here working, and we want to be here." This isn't going to happen if you don't want to be here, and we can't expect you out of bed every afternoon because you've been out all night drinking." Lee accused him of failing to contribute to the creative process, Neil stormed out, and his dismissal was announced to the public four days later.

Exposed was Neil's first solo album and was released in 1993. It debuted at number 13 on the Billboard charts, at #33. Steve Stevens (who appeared on "Exposed"), Dave Marshall, Robbie Crane, and Vik Foxx appeared on the album. The band eventually went on tour, opening for Van Halen. "You're Invited (But Your Friend Can't Attend)" is Neil's debut solo album "You're Invited (But Your Friend Is Unable To Attend)" is included on the album. The song has been released in two versions, the first of which was included on the soundtrack to Les Mayfield's film Encino Man, Encino Man - a music video was released for this version featuring a cameo from Pauly Shore. Steve Stevens, a Billy Idol guitarist, was rerecorded the song for his album. Janine Lindemulder, a pornographic film actress, can be seen in the second single "Sister of Pain" on YouTube. "Can't Change Me" was the third single starring a video shot at the Record Plant and the video for Pamela Anderson's debut "Can't Have Your Cake," the fourth single starring Neil Wharton and Pamela Anderson, who portrayed a young Vince Neil.

Neil debuted Carved in Stone, a Dust Brothers' industrial-oriented album produced in September 1995. When Neil was dealing with his daughter Skylar's illness, the album was recorded and was suspended. According to Billboard's Billboard 200, the album debuted at number 39. "Skylar's Song" dedicated to his daughter was released as a single on the album and featured a music video, and "The Crawl" was released as a promo single. In the United States, the album sold less than 100,000 copies, and Neil's deal with Warner Bros came to an end. In 2004, the album was re-released.

Neil has performed with his solo band, which included Slaughter members Jeff Blando and Dana Strum, as well as drummer Zoltan Chaney.

Since their Behind the Music episode aired on VH1 in December 1998 and became the highest-rated in the series, the band came back to the forefront. In December 1999, a DVD with ten extra minutes of footage was released.

The foursome were reunited that year after Neil's solo career and Mötley's fortunes were fading. "They admitted they couldn't do it without me," he said, "and Mötley Crüe didn't have music." Generation Swine, which debuted at #4 on the Billboard charts, debuted on the Billboard charts, which debuted at #4. Tension soon erupted, but Tommy Lee was forced to leave this time. In 2000, the other participants replaced him with Randy Castillo and released New Tattoo. Castillo died of cancer in 2002, and the revived band went on hiatus.

Mötley's fortunes were given a boost when Neil and Lee decided to tour in support of the 2005 compilation Red, White & Crüe. The tour, which was dubbed Carnival of Sins, included acrobats, fire breathers, and a midget as part of the band's overall circus atmosphere.

Mötley Crüe released Saints of Los Angeles, which featured all of the original members, in 2008.

Following the live album Live at the Whisky: One Night Only in 2003, Neil released his third solo album, Tattoos & Tequila in 2010. The album is a tribute to Neil's book Tattoos & Tequila: To Hell and Back With One of Rock's Most Notorious Frontmen. Each song on the album corresponds to a chapter in the book. The album's titled track was released as a single on the album and also featured a music video.

Neil contributed a cover of Japanese rock band L'Arcencciel's "Blurry Eyes" to their 2012 tribute album.

Following Mötley Crüe's final world tour in 2014 and 2015, Neil revealed in September 2018 that the band had reformed and planned to release new music.

Neil revealed in November 2016 that he had been contacted and was going to perform with his own band at Donald Trump's inauguration in Washington, D.C., on January 20, 2017. "I have no idea how long I have to play." "I'm not sure if the Republican Party knows which (songs) to play and what not to do," Neil said.

Motorsport career

Neil began working in Motorsport through Indy Lights in the 1992 season as P.I.G. Racing is back in the United States. He started four races, three of whom were top scoring positions, and three others were in third place. He competed in the Gold Coast Indycar event last year, and that year was also participating in the celebrity run. He has also been a participant in the Toyota Pro/Celebrity Runaway.
