Song Qian (Chinese: born February 2, 1987), also known as Victoria or Victoria Song, is a Chinese singer, dancer, actress, reporter, and writer based in South Korea and China.

In September 2009, she debuted as a member of South Korea's f(x) party. In 2010, Song appeared on We Got Married Season 2 as well as being a cast member of KBS's Invincible Youth.

She has also appeared in television series When Love Walked In (2012), Beautiful Secret (2015), Ice Fantasy (2015), A Life Time Love (2017), Moonshine and Valentine (2018), and My Best Friend's Wedding (2016), which ranked 74th on Forbes China's Top 100 list in 2017, with 71st in 2012 and 41st in 2019.

Life and career

Song Qian was born in Qingdao, Shandong. She left her hometown at a young age to study Chinese traditional dance at the Beijing Dance Academy. She was accepted into the Beijing Dance Academy and majored in Chinese ethnic dance following her high school graduation. After failing the audition under SM Casting System in September 2007, Song was first scouted by an SM Entertainment casting agent while in Beijing dance competition and then cast into SM Entertainment. She was first trained to work in South Korea for her acting and modeling careers. Song was introduced to the world through various appearances in music videos and advertisements prior to debuting; her first appearance in a Spris commercial with Lee Joon-gi was in early 2008. In September 2009, she made her official debut as a member of f(x).

Song was a cast member of Invincible Youth's first season, which featured 7 female idols from various groups in June 2010. She was also cast on the reality show We Got Married, with Nichkhun of 2pm. In the variety show, the two were collectively identified as Khuntoria. As a result of the show's success, Nichkhun and Song have both gained a following. Song received the 'Popularity Award' at the MBC Entertainment Awards for her role in We Got Married at the end of the year.

Song appeared in the Chinese-Taiwanese coproduction When Love Walked In, alongside label-mate Zhou Mi and firm Fahrenheit's Calvin Chen in January 2012. The drama also ranked at number one in viewership rankings. For her appearance, she received the 'Best New Actress' award at the China TV Drama Awards. Song published Victoria's Hong Kong: A photo essay book titled Victoria's Hong Kong, which included her travel experiences in Hong Kong and Macao in December 2012. In 2013, the Chinese version of the novel was republished.

Kim So-eun, a dancer, joined her as the MC for KBS' program Glitter in 2013.

Song was selected to appear with Zhou Mi in 2014 as the head of the Korean-Chinese variety show titled Strongest Group. "Life You" was also on his solo album single. Song performed in Zhang Liyin's music videos "Agape" and "Not Alone" as the lead female role alongside former EXO member Tao.

In 2015, it was also announced that Song would partner with Chinese manager Jia Shikai for her local interests. Song appeared in Hunan television's music romance drama Beautiful Secret, following the establishment of her studio. For the drama's soundtrack, she released "Star Tears" as a solo artist. The drama then progressed to record the highest average viewership numbers in China's first half.

Song appeared in My New Sassy Girl with Cha Tae-hyun in 2016. The film, a remake of My Sassy Girl (2001), was released in South Korea and China simultaneously. In the original film, she appeared in the Chinese remake film My Best Friend's Wedding, playing Kimberly Wallace. Song appeared in Ice Fantasy, an epic fantasy story based on Guo Jingming's book of the same name. Li Luo, which is also her character's name in the story, is her OST for Ice Fantasy. Anni Baobei and Rain were the next cast members of the modern romance drama Endless August.

Ace vs. Ace co-hosted the variety show Ace vs. Ace from January to April 2017. On Zhejiang TV's Beat The Champions, she became a regular cast member. She appeared alongside Huang Xiaoming in the fantasy romance drama A Life Time Love, based on Tong Hua's book Once Promised. She co-starred in the fantasy comedy film Wished, directed by Dayyan Eng, which received good feedback for Song and had the highest audience scores across the top four ticketing platforms for Chinese comedies that were released this summer. Up Idol, Hunan TV's female-centric reality show Up Idol, joined her in August.

Song appeared in The Chronicles of Town Called Jian, a Li Shaohong mystery period drama based on the "Tarot Goddess Sleuth" series. In 2014, the drama had already started filming.

She debuted her debut solo single "Roof on Fire" as well as its music video on March 13, 2018. As a mentor, she has also participated in the Hot Blood Dance Crew, a dance-focused variety show, and The Next Top Bang as a mentor.

Victoria appeared in the Chinese version of "Produce 101" in the summer of 2020, titled Chuang 2020, where she served as both an MC and a mentor. She has also appeared on the program.

Love Yourself, Victoria's female-centric drama, was released both in China and Internationally in August 2020. She plays a television reporter who is lost for love.

Song ended her endorsement deal with H&M in 2021 after the company chastised China for human rights abuses against Uyghurs in the Xinjiang region of China, where cotton for clothing products is grown. SM Entertainment reported in April 2021 that their deal with Victoria had come to an end.
