Marvic Valentin "Vic" Castelo Sotto Sr. (born April 28, 1954) is a Filipino actor, singer, and comedian best known for his various television and film projects on major Philippine television networks GMA, TV5, and ABS-CBN.

Early life
Sotto was born on April 28, 1954. He is Marcelino Antonio Ojeda Sotto Sr. and Dr. Herminia Castelo's youngest son. He attended Colegio de San Juan de Letran.
Personal life
Sotto has five children from various families. He has seven grandchildren (two from Danica, four from Oyo, and one from Paulina).
Sotto confirmed his participation in Eat Bulaga! Pauleen Luna, a co-host, appeared on September 5, 2015. The couple wed on January 30, 2016, at Ayala Alabang, Muntinlupa. Sotto revealed Eat Bulaga on May 6, 2017. Luna and he were expecting their first child together.
Career
He began his career as a folk singer and guitarist. Sotto was also the lead vocalist of the disco funk band VST & Company during those years. He released "Awitin Mo at Isasayaw Ko," "Rock Baby Rock," and "Kung Sakali" among other songs.
He appeared alongside Tito and Val in the early 1970s comedy OK Lang under IBC 13. Joey de Leon, a comedian who had invited the brothers to join him, was where he met Joey de Leon. Tito, Vic and Joey (TVJ) was a team formed, with Iskul Bukol, TVJ (Television's Jesters), Rock and Roll 2000, and hosting Eat Bulaga.
Former OK Lang co-star Joey de Leon invited the Sotto brothers Tito, Vic and Val to co-host an episode of GMA Network's late afternoon variety show Discorama hosted by Bobby Ledesma in 1976. Only Tito and Vic accepted de Leon's invitation. The newly formed trio began doing comedies interspersed with Top 40 hit-song parodies. Originally, the trio was supposed to be a one-off invite as Discorama was supposed to be scrapped, but GMA's management decided against it, after receiving good feedback from the viewers and ratings were high. When the trio first appeared on their Discorama Tough Hits segment, they were invited to be part of the noontime show Student Canteen.
They were given national recognition as comedians on Iskul Bukol, which was part of the sitcom Iskul Bukol. Other television and film offers knocked on the trio's door shortly after.
Tito, Vic and Joey, who were born in 1979, began hosting Eat Bulaga!, a competition against the more established Student Canteen.Not long after, Eat Bulaga!
