Urvashi Rautela (born 25 February 1994) is an Indian film actress and model who appears in Bollywood films.

Rautela was crowned Miss Diva - 2015 and represented India at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant, making her Bollywood debut with Singh Saab the Great (2013) and Hate Story 4 (2018) and upcoming film Pagalpanti (2019) a new actress.

Early life and education

Rautela was born in Haridwar on February 25, 1994, to Meera Rautela and Manwar Singh Rautela, a Garhwali Rajput family.

Kotdwar is her hometown. Rautela is a student at the University of Delhi's Gargi College.

Pageantry career

In Wills lifestyle India Fashion Week, Rautela got her first big break at age 15. Miss Teen India 2009 was also a winner. She was the show stopper for Lakme Fashion Week as a teen model for Lakme Fashion Week, Bombay Fashion Week, and Dubai Fashion Week.

In 2011, Rautela became India's second highest paid celebrity and Miss Asian Supermodel 2011. She also won the title of Miss Tourism Queen of the Year 2011, which was held in China, making her the first Indian woman to win the pageant. She had been invited Ishaqzaade before, but she turned it down because she wanted to focus on the Miss Universe pageant.

She received the coveted crown of I AM She – Miss Universe India in 2012, as well as the special award for Miss Photogenic. However, she was forced to relinquish her throne when she was underage at the time. Rautela returned to India in 2015 and took the grand prix. In Miss Universe 2015, she represented India but not finish, but she did not place.

Acting career

Rautela made her Bollywood debut with the film Singh Saab The Great as the female lead opposite Sunny Deol. Singh Saab The Great, Urvashi appeared on Yo Yo Honey Singh's international video album Love Dose, which came out in October 2014. Urvashi and Singh also appeared in the film Love Dose, which appeared in October 2014.

She began working in South Indian film and made her debut with Mr. Airavata, the Kannada film. Despite critical feedback, the film's dance sequence was lauded. She appeared in Virgin Bhanupriya, a comedy-drama directed by Ajay Lohan and directed by Shreyans Mahendra Dhariwal, in 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film was distributed by ZEE5.

Rautela completed her film Dil Hai Gray, which is a Tamil film that is the remake of Tamil film Thiruttu Payale 2. With Black Rose, she is expected to make her Telugu film debut. Saravanan Arul will make her Tamil debut with The Legend. It will be made on a tight budget.

With the Netflix film, Rautela will make her Hollywood debut. The name was tentatively assigned to a document. Renata Fonte and Michele Morrone appeared together in Renata Fonte and Michele Morrone. Barbara Bialowas will produce it and Netflix and Tomasz Mandes will produce it.
