Professional career

Igantik was ranked No. 1 in the World Cup in 2009. After winning the boys' singles title at 2007 Roland Garros and later finishing runner-up in the 2007 Wimbledon Championships, one junior in the world in June 2007. Ignatik lost in the 2007 US Open quarterfinals as the top seed.

Ignatik gained ATP points mainly because of participation in Futures tournaments. He finished 2008 as the world's best-ranked 864th in the world and 2008 as the world's best 431s. In 2008, Ignatik played his first two rubbers for Belarus in Davis Cup, defeating Switzerland in four sets to top 20 player Stanislas Wawrinka and losing in two sets to Yves Allegro. Ignatik won in three sets against Georgia, defeating Lado Chikhladze in three sets, and Nodar Itonishvili in a dead rubber in his next match against Georgia.

In 2009, Ignatik began playing Futures. Ignatik retired in his first rubber against South Africa in May 2009, which Belarus would go on to lose 5–0. Ignatik won his first Futures tournament in Poland in June. Ignatik also showed a strong vein of form in August, winning the final in a Futures in Serbia and then Polish two weeks later. He won another Future in Turkey two weeks later, and then won another in Spain the following week. Following this triumph, Ignatik was ranked in the top tiers of the Top 300 and began to compete in Challenger level tournaments.

Ignatik won his first Challenger in Tokyo at the end of the month in November in Jersey and Yokohama. He came in No. 1 in the year at the end of the year. The world's 192nd in the world.

Ignatik began the year by competing in the Futures circuit again, progressing to the finals of the one Futures tournament in the United Kingdom. He returned to compete in the Challenger Tour after this, but he wasn't able to qualify for any of these tournaments until May. In a tie against Italy, Ignatik lost both of his singles rubbers in the Davis Cup.

Ignatik won his second Challenger in Guangzhou, defeating Alexandre Kudryavtsev in the final.

In the final, he defeated Luká Lacko for his third Challenger in Tashkent.
