Career

Tulus, his debut album, was released in 2011. Rolling Stone Indonesian awards Tulus as Rookie of the Year and named in Indonesia's Best Album on the Top Chart in 2013. Gajah, his second album, was released in 2013. Since then, 88,000 copies have been produced and distributed in Indonesia, one of the country's biggest CD sales (2014-2015). Two months after it was announced, it was the first music album in the Indonesian language to be included in The Top 10 Best Selling Music Albums in iTunes Asia. Tulus' name was chosen because it was a childhood nickname. One of the album's songs, "Gajah," is also the name. It also includes songs such as "Tanggal Merah," "Satu hari di Bulan Juni", "Bumerang," "Gajah," and others. On October 10, 2015, "Sepatu" was re-released in Japan with the title "Kutsu" (), which Hiroaki Kato translated by.

Monokrom's third studio album in 2016 was due to be released on August 3rd by his own label Tulus Co. It was also available in Malaysia under CD to 100 Indonesian music stores and then in digital form.

Tulus has collaborated on projects for brand activation campaigns in addition to his albums. Tulus served as a brand ambassador for Bend The Rules International's campaign, which was hosted by Hewlett-Packard in 2014-15. Tulus also performed a new theme song in aid of this campaign.

Tulus produced "Lekas," which was used on the soundtrack of the Indonesian film 3 Nafas Likas (2014). Tulus recorded a song with Ran, an Indonesian music company, in mid-2015, which will be used in an ad campaign for Listerine.
