Danny appeared in both seasons of the Disney Channel short film As the Bell Rings as Danny. Three original songs by Oller were included in The Bell Rings. On the Disney Channel, his first song/music video, "Could You Be The One," premiered on August 2, 2008, followed by "Here I Go" and "All You Gotta Do" later that day. "If You Only Knew" appeared on Savannah Outen's music video for her single "If You Only Knew."

Oller appeared in the Lifetime drama "Unanswered Prayers," which was based on a Garth Brooks song. Walt Moore appeared in the TeenNick series Gigantic as a child actor. Malcolm Kelley, who later became one half of the pop-duo MKTO, was born here. Oller appeared in NBC's television film Field of Vision in 2011. The film was about a high-school football player (Tony Oller), who had to make a difficult decision about bullies.

In an episode of CSI: NY later in 2011, an Oller guest appeared in an episode. Beneath the Darkness, a 2012 horror thriller film, he was a lead actor. Oller and his late Gigantic co-star Malcolm David Kelley formed the pop duo MKTO in 2012. On January 15, 2013, the group signed to Columbia Records and released their debut single "Thank You" on January 15, 2013. The single ranked number two in the Australian charts. The New Zealand charts rank number 7 and seventh in the New Zealand rankings. Their single "Classic" was released in 2013 with a music video and peaked the song at number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100. Their debut album was released on April 1, 2014, and the album reached the top of the Billboard 200 on page 31.

MKTO's lyric video of their new single, "Bad Girls," was released on June 2, 2015. The video for "Bad Girls" was released on June 5, 2015. On the iTunes pop charts, it also ranked as #21. On March 9, 2016, Billboard unveiled "Hands Off My Heart/Places You Go" a double A-side single containing two of the brand new songs "Hands Off My Heart/Places You Go" was the first A-side single starring two artists. The band had broken up on March 10, 2017, according to Tony Oller, who revealed it on Twitter. However, the band had revealed in September 2017 that they were recording on their second studio album.

Oller revealed in August 2021 that he had departed from the band.
