Following Duncan Ferguson's departure, Forest Green Rovers have put Hannah Dingley in caretaker charge of the men's senior team. Dingley has been given the reins of the League Two club after Ferguson's unexpected departure in a landmark move for English football exclusively revealed by Mail Sport. Dingley, who holds a UEFA Pro Licence, is the first woman to lead a male's senior side in one of England's top-four divisions, although temporarily for now. Forest Greens were playing Melksham Town in their first pre-season game on Wednesday night. Dingley will be in charge. 'Hannah was the right choice for us as the first team interim coach,' said the club's president Dale Vince.
