Antony "Tony" Audenshaw (born 1964, in Denton, Lancashire), an English actor best known for his role as Bob Hope on the famous ITV1 soap Emmerdale, a part in which he has appeared since 2000. In 1989, he appeared in Inspector Morse as a fast bowler for the Clarets cricket team.

Audenshaw was born in Denton, Lancashire, on September 9, 1964. Ruth Audenshaw married him in 1993 and the pair had two children together before her death in 2017. Audenshaw began his acting and music career on stage, but not performing songs and sketches he had written later, and later appeared in amateur theatre productions. Though attempting to make it as an actor, he worked at Thorpe Park and slept in his car on the parking lot because he couldn't afford accommodation. He appeared in the Channel 4 soap Brookside from 1994 to 1996. In 1996, he made his Emmerdale debut as a security guard. Acky was a character in the film "Ghost." Bob Hope appeared in 2000 and has been a cast member ever since. At the 7th National Television Awards, he was nominated for his role as the actor. He appeared alongside others on a celebrity version of Family Fortunes in December 2006, and in 2009, he appeared and won an episode of Celebrity Mastermind. Birds were his specialty.
