Tomi Rae Augustus Lahren (born August 11, 1992) is an American conservative political commentator and former television presenter.
On TheBlaze, she hosted Tomi, where she first gained attention for her short video segments titled "final thoughts," in which she often criticized liberal politics.
Many of her videos went viral, with The New York Times describing her as a "rising media celebrity" in March 2017. After saying in an interview with The View that she believes women should have legal rights to abortion, she was barred from TheBlaze in March 2017.

Early life and education
In 2010, Lahren grew up in Rapid City, South Dakota, and graduated from Central High School. She is of German and Norwegian descent. In 2014, Lahren graduated from University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with a B.A. Broadcast journalism and political science are two distinct branches of broadcast journalism and political science. The Scramble, a student and associate, produced the university's political roundtable event. Kristi Noem, a South Dakota congresswoman, interned for Lahren, who served as the first intern at Noem's Rapid City office.
Personal life
Lahren revealed on Instagram in June 2019 that she was engaged to Brandon Fricke, her boyfriend. In 2020, they were banned from participating in certain activities. In early 2021, Lahren was linked to fellow Fox broadcaster and former Major League Baseball catcher J.P. Arencibia. Both Lahren and Arencibia have consistently stated the relationship on their Instagram pages as of August 2021. On September 25, 2021, Lahren revealed that she was on a trial of Justice with Judge Jeanine. They were married on October 21, 2022, 2022.

Career
Lahren applied to One America News Network (OANN), received an interview, but was then given the opportunity to host her own show in the hopes of finding a career in political analysis. She migrated to San Diego, California, and began working for OANN. On Point with Tomi Lahren debuted in August 2014.
A video of her speech on the 2015 Chattanooga shootings attracted significant attention in July 2015. Lahren announced on August 19 that she had completed her last show with OANN. In November 2015, she and TheBlaze opened a new show in Texas. She began to be known for separating her show with three-minute segments dubbed "final thoughts," in which she spoke quickly. These segments became extremely popular on social media.
In January 2016, Lahren endorsed Marco Rubio for president in the Republican presidential primary. Lahren appeared on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah on November 30, a 30-minute interview. Several commentators compared her appearance to former host Jon Stewart's friendly rivalry with Bill O'Reilly.
Lahren appeared on The View on March 17, 2017, arguing that women should have access to abortion and that if she opposed both "limited government and also government limits on abortion," she would be a hypocrite. Glenn Beck, theBlaze's owner, chastised Lahren for her remarks and suspended her with pay, causing Lahren to file a wrongful termination lawsuit. The case was settled under an arrangement in which Lahren maintained her Facebook page but took down videos she had made with TheBlaze.
In May 2017, Lahren started serving in communications at Great America Alliance, an offshoot of Great America PAC, chaired by Newt Gingrich and Rudy Giuliani, a large pro-Donald Trump super PAC chaired by Newt Gingrich and Rudy Giuliani.
