Early life and career
Bryan Lamar Simmons was born in Miami, Florida, on April 4, 1987. He lived in Eufaula, Alabama, and later moved to Atlanta, Georgia.
TM88, a young artist at Brick Squad Monopoly at the time, began making instrumentals for Slim Dunkin, an artist at Brick Squad Monopoly, until his assassination in late 2011. He was welcomed to Southside, where he began working with. Later in life, Southside invited him to join his production team 808 Mafia. TM88 received his first major success as a solo producer on Waka Flocka Flame's "Lurkin," which was on his second studio album Triple F Life in 2012.
TM88 debuted on major mixtapes from rappers like Future in 2013. TM88 later collaborated with Gucci Mane and was offered a position on his ninth studio album Trap House III. In 2014, he was featured on Future's second studio album Honest on the track "Special" in a production feature.
