Timothy John Harding (born 1 February 1978), more popularly known as Tim Harding, is an Australian singer, guitarist, actor, comedian, and former member of the Australian children's musical group Hi-5.

After nine years with Hi-5, he resigned in November 2007.

Life and career

With two younger brothers named Peter and James and attending St Andrew's Cathedral School, Harding grew up in Sydney, Australia. He formed Compos Mentis, with his brother Peter, family friend Mike McCarthy, and bass player Sam O'Donnell. He does a bit of boxing and surfing. He auditioned for the children's musical group's debut in Hi-5 in 1998, when he wasn't studying social work at university. Harding was accepted and remained a key participant of the company until he left the company after suffering a broken back and toes in a motorcycle crash at Eastern Creek Raceway earlier this year. Stevie Nicholson had him recalled. Although Harding was in Hi-5, the group received five ARIA Music Awards and three Logie Awards.

Tash and his children, Arielle and Beatrix, and Harding live in Newcastle, and performs as a freelance entertainer and guitarist. He also performs with the Sydney-based weddings and functions band Soultraders. In Cushion Kids, Harding gave the voice to "Zip the Bird."
