Thanasis Antetokounmpo Life

Thanasis Antetokounmpo is a Greek professional basketball player who has competed with the New York Knicks (2016) and Milwaukee Bucks (2019-Present) in the NBA (National Basketball Association). He has also participated in the minor/developmental NBA G League, playing for the Delaware 87ers (2013-2014) and the Westchester Knicks (2014-2016). In 2014 and the NBA G-League's "All-Defensive Third Team" (2015), he was included in the NBA G-League's "All-Defensive Third Team" and the NBA G-League's "All-Defensive Second Team." His greatest success, on a franchise basis, came in Greece, where he has represented Filathlitikos A.O. Zografou B.C. (FAOZ) (2011-2013) and Panathinaikos B.C. (FAOZ) OPAP (2017-2019) He had won the Greek Basket League (GBL) Championship twice before (2018, 2019) and the Greek Cup once (2019). In both 2018 and 2019, he was voted "Most Spectacular Player" in the Greek Basket League for his efforts. He was also a member of the Greek Basket League's annual 'All-Star Game' and was voted the Greek Basket League'MVP' on several occasions. He played for an Andorra-based squad named Bàsquet Club Andorra S.A., which competes in Spain's Liga ACB. For the first time in 22 years, he has been instrumental in the team's qualifying for the playoffs.
