Early life
Ransom, the son of Terrell and Katrina Ransom, was born in Royal Oak, Michigan. Ransom demonstrated a keen interest in acting and modeling right away, starting with watching Hannah Montana as a child. He then enrolled in acting classes, but teachers were reluctant to work with him due to his youth. Katrina moved to California later to assist her son's education.
Career
Ransom has been working consistently since moving to California in late 2007. He has appeared in many commercials, including ads for Kmart, Quilted Northern, Old Navy, Elmers Glue, McDonald's, and SpongeBob SpongeSoap. He appeared on Days of Our Lives for seven years and appeared on many television programs, including ABC's The Middle and Detroit 1-8-7, CBS's The Jay Leno Show, and NBC's The Jay Leno Show. He has appeared in a few films, including the 2011 film The Chicago 8 and 2012 Lifetime Movie Murder on the 13th Floor. After Kwesi Boakye (who narrated Darwin for the first three seasons) hit puberty in season three, Ransom performed Darwin Watterson in Cartoon Network's The Amazing World of Gumball. Donielle T. Hansley Jr. succeeded him for the same reason.
