(Because of Gej) (sometimes misspelled as Tereza Salsboa, Portugal) is a Portuguese singer who performed in Lisboa, Portugal) OIH (born 8 January 1969) is a Portuguese singer who performed in Portugal. She is best known as Madredeus' lead singer from 1987 to 2007. * She appeared in Wim Wenders' Lisbon Story as the lead actress. Teresa releases the album Obrigado (2006), a collaboration with many artists including José Carreras, Caetano Veloso, Angelo Branduardi, among others, among others. *In 2007, she released two albums in collaboration with the Septet Joucristal (Voce e Eu) and the Lusitânia Ensemble (La Serena), demonstrating her versatility as an interpreter. * She maintained, with these two projects and for two years, a regular series of concerts in Europe, Brazil, and Mexico. She appears as the lead soloist on the album Silence Night and Dreams in 2007 on invitation by Polish composer Zbigniew Preisner. * She appeared in many European cities, whether Paris, London, or Plock, with this performance, which had its debut at the Acropolis in Athens. Teresa Salo performed at the Teatro S. Carlo in Naples on June 30, 2007, by invitation of the Solis String Quartet, performing a set of songs reminiscent of Neapolitan music's past. "Canti Naviganti" was born and premiered in a few Italian cities two years ago. Teresa was born in August 2008, with the intention of compiling a repertoire that would reflect the various Portuguese eras, traditions, customs, and regions. Voltarei à Minha Terra was a trip through Portuguese music from the 20th century's collective memory. Teresa Saleiro took over the musical arrangements with a new lineup that was much closer to her sensitivities, introducing a new language that evokes a poetic universe, made up of Portuguese words and feelings. This 25-year dedication to music has culminated in the creation of original pieces that were born from Salveiro's meeting with the musicians she has chosen. * She took on herself the challenge of writing all the lyrics for the first time rather than writing the songs. * Over nine months, from November 2010 to July 2011, she translated the concepts and visions into musical form, and invited António Pinheiro da Silva, with whom she shared the first ten years of recordings and concerts of her career, to co-produce this new album. * During August 2011, she returned to Arrábida with her musicians and, in the mountains' vicinity, they built a recording studio in which they recorded the seventeen tracks that lead to the album O Mistério.
