She is best known as Madredeus' lead singer from 1987 to 2007. * She appeared in Wim Wenders' Lisbon Story as the lead actress. Teresa releases the album Obrigado (2006), a collaboration with many artists including José Carreras, Caetano Veloso, Angelo Branduardi, among others, among others. *In 2007, she released two albums in collaboration with the Septet Joucristal (Voce e Eu) and the Lusitânia Ensemble (La Serena), demonstrating her versatility as an interpreter. * She maintained, with these two projects and for two years, a regular series of concerts in Europe, Brazil, and Mexico.
